go to sally's beauty supply and buy the purple shampoo that they use on humans.....its the same stuff that they use on the dogs.....shampoo the dog with it and let it stand for several minutes....then rinse it out.....dont leave it on to long or you will have a baby blue dog.....use it once a week, twice if the dog is really stained bad.....and enjoy your white dog

Whitening shampoo, normally using a special shampoo system that mixes the shampoo and water and sprays it on at high force, getting all the way through the hair and to the skin better than doing it by hand.

As a bather,we usually use a professional whitener shampoo for dogs..

I know that the hair on a schnauzer tends to yellow and after it's done so, it can be hard to turn white again. You can try letting it soak for a couple of minutes in the shampoo, and use it weekly or bi-weekly after.

Your groomer probably used a toner for platinum for white hair just as hairdressers use on human hair. The toner is purple and negates any yellow undertones.

Mix cornstarch and water into a paste and apply to hair and allow to dry. When dry, brush it out and the hair will be white. It's done at dog shows...especially on tear stains on dog's faces that have white hair...especially Old English Sheepdogs. Have done it in the past myself and works well.
