Are you a photographer? What is the best Camera to use for photgraphing models/glamour models?
What camera do you use for Glamour photography? And why do you use this? Why is it good? Is it a professional camera with good quality?
Thanks.
How much are they approx?
Cameras, for whatever purpose, are a matter of personal choice. You have to look at how versatile you want the camera to be. There are those with motor drives, there are those which you have to advance manually, with and without internal flashes, with outside lighting. It matters whether you will be shooting inside or outside. There are a lot of factors which have to be taken in to consideration, and the most important is your personal choice. Cameras can run anywhere from a few hundred dollars to thousands of dollars using different formats and size film.
That is a wide-open question!
I would say go with a minimum of a RZ67 or a EOS-1 Mark III ds.
Remember, equipment is only one little variable in a very complex equation.
I agree with both answers before me. I’ve seen photos taken by extremely expensive cameras that look great. I’ve also seen exceptional photos done with disposable point-and-shoot cameras. The art comes from the mind of the photographer and his/her understanding of his/her craft.
Camera choice is sort of like asking if a person likes Ford or Chevy. A good case can be made for almost any camera.
I use a Fuji FinePix S3 Pro. I like the way it feels in my hands: solid, stable, not like the lighter plastic-feeling jobs that are so common. It has excellent resolution, although I still prefer film to digital. (I’m a purist.) With the options I have on mine the average cost is about $2200 for the package.
If you’re planning on glamour, I would concentrate more on lighting. That’s the often forgotten key.
Good luck.
its hard to say, each person has different ideas based on personal experience. I would try renting one from a photo lab, seeing which you like. I know some places will let you rent a few, and apply part of the cost towards the purchase of a camera.
